INTI BLACKBOARD - ONLINE LEARNING SYSTEM

I'm glad to be part of INTI Management Staff. INTI has moving forward from time to time in terms of the technology used for student learning system. The current technology used for students is called "INTI BLACKBOARD".

INTI's Learning Experience includes Blackboard, an innovative learning management system that allows students to access their course materials, lecture notes, assignments and tutorials outside of the usual class environment. This allows students to collaborate with each other more efficiently. Coupled with good teaching practices, this will create a better learning experience for students to improve their academic performance.

IFMS - MOE SYSTEM

IFMS is a Ministry of Higher Education system that required all private institutions to key in the student data and information as well as institutions and the lecturers information. Again I have to handle and manage for this project for my institution. I do hope that ministry not cancelling on this system after we have key in the information.

It happens once in the past where the system is not stable and caused a lot of problems to the user.

IFMS1 that launched in 2011 has been faced off by the ministry and now in 2015, they are launching for IFMS2. I hope this round the system will work effectively and efficiently.

VIRTUALLY TO REALITY

AUGMENTED - TURN TO REALITY

We started hearing about augmented reality and virtual dressing rooms as early as 2005. Technology makes what we seen becoming more realistic. I was so impressed with the augmented reality technology. This technology can match on the customer expectation virtually to reality.

With augmented reality shopping, customers can have experience in the same sensuality of trying on clothes and seeing how they complement the contours of their body. I wish Malaysia can implement this technology in the shopping mall.

Thinking about that, it will be good if scarf boutique such as TUDUNG FAREEDA can have this technology. Wow!!! Customer can just select the type and design of the scarf that they like via screen and it can turn into reality. Customer can see from the screen on their look without need to try it in reality. FANTASTIC!!!!  

Check in & Check out Kiosk Machine

Last Sunday I went to Genting Highlands with my lovely hubby & princess. We stay a night at First World Hotel. I was so impressed with the hotel check in and check out technology used at First World Hotel. The technology made our life easier as we don’t need to line up at the front counter for check in. First World hotel using a kiosk machine for hotel check in and check out purpose.

Actually I won a ticket from Genting Resort to stay a night at First World Hotel. The best thing is the booking reservation also made by online registration using internet technology. Once I reached there, there were many kiosk machine for check in purpose. We just need to key in the registration and IC number. Once it’s done, we just need to choose the room available by selected the icon via the kiosk machine. Then we just select whether we want one or two room key. The room key (touch card) then will come out from the machine. Fantastic!!! Now I can enter the room and enjoy my holiday.

 During the check out time, I just insert the room key in the check-out kiosk machine. That’s all. So easy using the check in and check out kiosk machine technology at First World Hotel.
